Grateful for My Cross
Growing up I was always so ashamed of my life. Never satisfied with myself; physically disabled, not a great student, not attractive, etc. I thought the way to happiness was to find a girlfriend, get married, have children, and live a "normal" life. I thought something was WRONG with me that none of the above was happening for me. Turns out, the only thing wrong was my attitude. As Luke 9:23 states “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me." I am so grateful that I do not have to search for my cross, cerebral palsy, which is so RIGHT for me!
